Reading fiction set in a country outside the USA instantly takes you to another world. You will learn about another country or culture as you read, letting you explore places you may never actually go. Pick your favorite book or books and join us as we do a bit of armchair traveling fiction style.
The easy way to find ficiton set in a foreign country is to search the catalog with the word fiction then the name of a country.
Not a traditional book group, Let's Talk Books is a series of casual online conversations about books. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month on Zoom to talk about our favorite books in a specific genre or on a theme that changes each time. We each bring a few titles to share, and by the end of the discussion we all have a few new titles on our too-be-read lists.
