Interested in browsing the Bookmobile shelves, but planning for just a brief visit to the Iowa City Public Library mobile library? Start your search online! You can now narrow your search in our catalog to show only Bookmobile items.
To pull a full list of ICPL Bookmobile items, do not type anything in the search box, and select "search."
After this loads, selet "Bookmobile" on the left column. The results that load will be items in the Bookmobile collection, though do be aware that this will include items that are currently on the Bookmobile as well as items that are currently in Bookmobile Storage.
If you would like to further limit your search by collection, this can be found on the left side of the page, where you can select the collection you would prefer to browse.
One point to keep in mind when viewing this list is that holds can not be placed on items in the Bookmobile collection. If you see a title you are interested in when browsing online, you could place a hold, which will be filled by items from the downtown collection, or you can make note of the title and search for it during your next visit in person to the ICPL Bookmobile.
