The summer Bookmobile route and schedule kicks off on Tuesday, May 31, and runs through Friday, August 19, 2022.
Services will be unavailable on June 20 (Juneteenth) and July 4 (Independence Day).
In addition to the regular Monday through Friday route, the Bookmobile will be popping up at the Iowa City Farmers Market from 8 to 11 a.m. on select Saturdays this summer. Various activities and crafts will be offered, along with regular Bookmobile services, so the public can stop by to pick up holds, browse and borrow from the bins, return materials, register for a library card, get a bus pass, or participate in the Summer Reading Program.
The Bookmobile will be at the Farmers Market every Saturday from June 11 to August 20, except June 18. Look for the Bookmobile at the Farmers Market on:

The Iowa City Farmers Market is located at the Chauncey Swan parking ramp at 405 E Washington Street. The ICPL Bookmobile is wheelchair accessible.
