Do you have a Facebook or Pinterest account? Come to the Iowa City Public Library for classes on how to hone your skills on popular social media sites.
Facebook Tips and Tricks will show participants how to get control of their timeline and home feed, and find new ways to connect by creating an event or group. Class will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 6, and at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 22.
Pinterest Tips and Tricks will show participants how to organize their Pinterest account to its fullest potential. Learn how to search for boards using various search terms, follow and unfollow boards, make a secret pin board, and more at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11.
Classes are free and space is limited, so patrons should register early. To register for classes at the Library, visit http://calendar.icpl.org/categories/classes-tech-help to register online. You can also register by calling the Library at 319-356-5200. All classes will be held in the Digital Media Lab on the second floor.
