Here’s a novel idea: enjoy a meal out and support the Iowa City Public Library Friends Foundation at the same time.
The Foundation has partnered with local restaurants for a new fundraising program: Eat Out to Read.
Every Sunday in November from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., mention the Iowa City Public Library while enjoying brunch at Brix Cheese Shop and Wine Bar, 209 N. Linn St., and a percentage of your bill will be given to the Friends Foundation.
