Monday, Wednesday and Friday storytimes at the Iowa City Public Library just got better with Story Play.
Beginning Monday, November 7, and continuing all month along, Story Play will be held immediately after storytime from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. During this time, the Library will have books, toys and music for youngsters to play with while their parents and caregivers meet and talk with each other.
Feel free to bring snacks and/or lunch. No registration is required. Stay for the whole hour or just a few minutes; whatever works best for you and your child.
Story Play is open to children from infancy through pre-school. All children in attendance must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. For more information, call the Library at 319-356-5200.
