Monday, June 9, 2025 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Digital Media Lab
Using Adobe Illustrator, turn the phrase of your choice into a striking and legible sign that could be held at a rally or posted in a window of your home.
Illustrator has text features that go beyond ordinary, flat lines of text. You can warp letters to a custom shape, put them on a curved path, fill the letters with a gradient, and create 3D effects. We will go over some options and then have plenty of work time. Participants will leave with a free 12x18" color printout of their design.
You can use these skills later for making band posters, a logo for your club or business, a social media post that makes people pause, or printed designs for stickers, flyers, or stationery.
Experience using Adobe Illustrator is not necessary, but comfort using computers is recommended.
