04/19/2025 2:30pm 04/19/2025 3:30pm UI Youth Ballet Ensemble Spring Concert Showcase All ages are invited to enjoy a free-to-the-public showcase from the students studying at the University of Iowa Youth Ballet and Community Dance School in a child-friendly environment! Dancers will perform pieces from their 2025 Spring Concert, Fairy Tales: Stone Soup & Mother Goose. A creative dance geared towards ages 10 and under will be taught inspired by the performance. All ages are welcome to participate in this fun activity. The UI Youth Ballet Ensemble is a repertory group available to students fully enrolled in Levels 3-5. The goal of this group is to prepare students for the discipline and rehearsal techniques required within a professional dance company or a college dance program. Membership in ensemble year-round provides opportunities students to broaden their dance vocabulary through a rehearsal mix of classical ballet, contemporary ballet, and modern dance.
