Girls Who Code Club is for girls and non-binary youth in grades 3-5 who are interested in learning how to code. No previous experience necessary! The goal of this club is to create a safe and supportive environment of peers and role models where students learn to see themselves as computer scientists. Participate in coding challenges using a platform called Scratch, and learn about the design of video games, digital art, and robots!
Girls Who Code Club meets Tuesdays from January 14 - April 29 from 4-5 PM in the Digital Media Lab. NO CLUB MEETING MARCH 18, 25, or APRIL 1.

This club will be led by graduate students from the “Gateway to Psyience” group within the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa.
