In many Latin American cultures, the poinsettia is given as a traditional gift and acts as a symbol of the Christmas season. This afternoon, kids in grades K-2 are invited to come learn about the significance of the poinsettia as we read Tomie dePaola's "The Legend of the Poinsettia" and create unique handmade poinsettia art prints.
