Summer Reading Program Lock In Finale Party!

lockin The Teen Summer Reading Program ends the last day of July.  To celebrate, we're having a Teen Lock In Finale Party this Friday, July 26 from 8-11 p.m.  Teens going into Grades 7-12 are invited to hang out at the Library after hours!  We've got a lot of fun stuff planned.  Here are just a few things:  An epic scavenger hunt, duct tape crafts, book dominoes (though we probably won't break the world record) and Minecraft.  Also, Pancheros is providing delicious burritos.  Be in Meeting Room A by 8:30 to get locked-in.

    After a series of novellas, we have our first full-length Murderbot novel, and it is fantastic. The novellas were always over too soon, so I'm pleased to say that a novel is a perfect fit for my favorite anti-social cyborg. If you haven't read any of these, I'd suggest starting with "All Systems Red." This is one of those series that just keeps getting better. This is great Sci-Fi! -Brian
