Have a treat and build your computer skills!
This in-person workshop is for those who are new to using a computer or want to build more confidence using the Windows 11 operating system -- especially since the library's public computers are beginning to transition from Windows 10 to 11!
Participants will learn how to navigate a Windows 11 computer, open applications, find and manage files and folders, save and delete files, and more.
Computers will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own laptop if you have one that runs Windows 11. Staff at the Info Desk can help you determine your operating system.
We'll give away one 256GB flash drive at this event, courtesy of a grant from AT&T and the Public Library Association.
Instructor: Stacey McKim
Please register, as space is limited.
The next class in the series is Internet Basics on March 21, followed by Keep Yourself Safe Online on March 28.
This free workshop is made possible by a grant from the Public Library Association, AT&T and the Iowa City Public Library Friends Foundation.
