The Iowa Writers Workshop began at the University of Iowa in 1936 and has produced many well known writers. In the last 80 years there are hundreds of published works by graduates of the Workshop in a wide range of genre. Pick some of your favorites and join us for the discussion or just join us to hear what others have liked.

Not a traditional book group, Let's Talk Books is a series of casual online conversations about books. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month on Zoom to talk about our favorite books in a specific genre or on a theme that changes each time. We each bring a few titles to share, and by the end of the discussion we all have a few new titles on our too-be-read lists.
