A cozy mystery is a lighthearted, often fast paced mystery and is usually part of a series. They are fun or humorous without graphic violence, profanity or sex. Most often set in small towns where everyone knows everyone and their business. The main character is usually an amateur sleuth, often, but not always, a woman who is like by everyone, has some type of career but who solves mysteries on the side. Pets are often involved either as a sidekick or sometimes they help solve the mystery.
Find some titles that you've liked and join us for a discussion of our favorite old or new Cozy Mysteries. Everyone is welcome! The more people that join in the more fun the discussions are.
Let's Talk Books is not a traditional book group. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month on Zoom to talk about our favorite books in a specific genre or on a set topic, and we each come away with some new titles to add to our too-be-read lists.
