Thursday, October 24, 2024 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Digital Media Lab
In preparation for gift-giving this holiday season, let's talk about customizing presents using our Cricut!
Stacey will show you how to create text boxes and browse Cricut Design Space for free images you could iron onto a shirt, throw pillow, apron, tea towel, or anything that's mostly cotton. Others will look great stuck as vinyl onto a houseplant pot, water bottle, candle holder, wooden sign, ornament, jars of preserves, or other flat surfaces. And imagine the elaborate paper cards and decorations you could make if the Cricut does all the hard work!
We'll mostly look at images and talk through hypothetical projects, but you will leave with a pre-cut gift box / treat container as an example.
Please register by 1pm on Thursday to receive a container, thanks!
