Library EventFamily Storytime: Author Visit with Jill Cronbaugh

Join local author Jill Cronbaugh for a read-aloud of her 2024 picture book "Connor's A Unicorn." Then enjoy songs, rhymes, and fingerplays to go along with the story! In this book, Connor looks like a horse, but she knows that she's a unicorn on the inside. Journey along with Connor to see where she finds acceptance!

This week marks the American Library Association's longtime annual recognition of the importance of intellectual freedom, known as Banned Books Week. Ms. Cronbaugh's book, like many that are challenged, addresses identity and inclusion. Celebrate diverse perspectives with us this week at the library!

Family Storytime is recommended for all ages and includes both shorter and longer stories combined with action games and activities.
