The holy month of Ramadan begins at the first sighting of the crescent moon this evening. The hallmark of Ramadan is a month-long, dawn-to-sunset fast that ends with Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast), when there is much feasting and celebration! The crescent moon symbolizes this important time of year for Muslims around the world, so today we will decorate and cut out moons and stars!
Sunday Fun Days are suitable for all-ages, but younger children should make the crafts together with caregivers. One craft per child please.
