Meeting Room A
National Scrabble Day (April 13th) celebrates the birth of the game's creator, American architect Alfred Mosher Butts. Conceived in 1933, it took until 1948 for the game to become the SCRABBLE game we know and love. Join the Iowa City Public Library and The Iowa City Scrabble Club to celebrate National Scrabble Day with an afternoon of Scrabble. All ages and skill levels are invited! Bring a board if you have one, but it's not required - we'll have extras.
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
