"Drop everything and read" at an after school reading party at the library! National D.E.A.R. Day is celebrated every year on the birthday of beloved children's author Beverly Cleary - she's turning 102 this year, and first introduced D.E.A.R. in her book Ramona Quimby, Age 8. Join us to play "Pin the Mouse on the Motorcycle," make a Beverly Cleary-inspired bookmark, and then enjoy time for independent, quiet reading - with snacks, of course!
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
