Details: Prairie Lights Books and the Iowa City Public Library co-sponsor a visit from Geraldine Brooks. She will be reading from her New York Times Bestselling novel "CALEB’S CROSSING," followed by a question and answer session. Geraldine will be signing her book after the reading, and copies will be available to purchase through on-site sales from Prairie Lights Bookstore. Geraldine Brooks is The New York Times bestselling author of People of the Book, March (winner of the 2006 Pulitzer Prize in Fiction), and Year of Wonders and the nonfiction works Nine Parts of Desire and Foreign Correspondence. Born and raised in Australia, she lives on Martha’s Vineyard with her husband, the author Tony Horwitz, and their two sons.
