The Visiting Author program is a targeted program the ICCSD Foundation supports. In partnership with Hills Bank’s Community Reading Month, two book authors are selected each year to visit the District and speak with students about their writing and experiences.

The 2023 Visiting Author is Stacy McAnulty who will be visiting with our 3rd and 4th graders. Curriculum before the author’s visit is guided around the author, her books, and works similar to hers.
