Beginning Tuesday March 17, the Library will offer telephone and online reference service from 10 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. To access these services, please call the Library at 319-356-5200 or navigate to icpl.org and click on "Ask Us."
We understand this is a difficult time for our community. We encourage you to utilize our Digital Library resources, which are available seven days a week. Some resources require an ICPL Library Card and a residence in our service area. Details are on the Library webpage. If you need a Library Card, please register online then call the Library for assistance.
While the Library is closed, we encourage community members to keep all Library materials until we reopen. No items will be due and no fines will accrue while the Library is closed. Items on Hold will not expire and will be available when the Library reopens.
We are not accepting donations of books, CDs, DVDs or other physical materials while the Library is closed.
Library leadership continues to work with health and community officials and the safety of our community and staff members is our top priority. Updates will be posted on the Library webpage.
