The Iowa City Public Library Bookmobile won’t be in service the week of August 19 because of scheduled vehicle maintenance, collection updates, and staff training.
During the Bookmobile’s seasonal break in service, items can be returned at the downtown Library or to the Library’s remote drop boxes. Holds that arrive at the Library during this time can be found by inquiring at the Help Desk at the downtown Library or on the Bookmobile when our Fall Schedule begins.
The Bookmobile’s Fall Schedule begins Monday, August 26, and will continue through Thursday, December 19. Please visit the Bookmobile at the following locations during this time:

The Bookmobile won’t be in service on September 2 (Labor Day), November 11 (Veteran’s Day observed), and November 21 and 22 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
All stops are open to the public. All stops offer free parking with the exception of the University of Iowa College of Medicine Courtyard stop on Tuesdays.
