Library EventChess Club

Are you interested in learning how to play chess or to practice and improve your chess skills? Grades K-6th are welcome to join us for Chess Club twice a month on the first and third Monday of the month, from 4:00-5:00.

Mark Capron, who was recently inducted into the Iowa Chess Hall of Fame, will begin meetings with a Chess demonstration to help kids improve their chess skills, and then he will assist and monitor matches for the rest of the time.
