Digital Media Lab
If you've ever wondered how designers fill text with a gradient of colors or a photo, wonder no more! We'll use Adobe Photoshop to add a Gradient Overlay to a layer of your text. What will you write? This workshop comes just in time for Pride and Juneteenth celebrations, but you're welcome to make a sign about anything you care about, a quote you like, or an inside joke.
You may wish to bring along a high-quality digital photo for the second part of the workshop. Imagine a photo of your pet filling their name, a family photo filling your last name, a vacation photo filling a word you associate with the trip, a sunset photo filling a favorite poem, etc.
Please register to reserve a library computer with Adobe Creative Cloud and feel free to share with a friend! If you have your own laptop with Adobe CC, there's a registration option for that, too.
Instructors: Stacey McKim and Emma Runestad
