Teen Writing Contest
This year's contest is closed.
Calling all young writers! You're invited to write a short story answering one of two prompts:
- Write about hope and what it means to you
- Is technology good for teens?
Submit your writing between October 1 - November 2, 2022. Winners and runner-ups will be announced on November 7, 2022.
Criteria
Writing can be fiction or nonfiction and must be:
- Less than 300 words
- An original piece of work
- Submitted as a Word or PDF document
Awards
Prizes will be awarded in two age groups: 7-8 grade and 9-12 grade.
- 1st place - $30 gift card
- 2nd place - $15 gift card
Submissions may appear both in the library and on the library website.
