The Iowa City Public Library’s Local Music Project website recently debuted a redesign that makes discovering local bands and performers even easier.
The Local Music Project is a revolving collection of albums by eastern Iowa musicians. The redesign will allow users to stream music directly from the site. Users can still choose to download music they want, but it’s no longer the only option. The design is also mobile-friendly, making it easier to access local music on your smartphone or tablet.
This service is available to all residents of Johnson County, but requires a current Iowa City Public Library Card and password.
