Interruption to Library Services on Tuesday, June 18

The Iowa City Public Library will be upgrading the Library servers from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18. During this time, patrons will not be able to check out materials using the self-check stations. Staff will be available to manually check out materials at the Help Desk on the first floor.

The Library catalog computers will also be down. Staff at the Help, Children’s, and Reference Desks will be able to assist with finding items in lieu of the catalog.

Patrons should also note any materials returned during this time will not be processed and checked in until the server upgrade is complete.

Once the upgrade is done, Library services will return to normal. For further information, please call the Library switchboard at 319-356-5200.
