OK, so Teen Read Week was technically last week, but I just saw this article on the Huffington Post, and although you really should look over the whole article, this quote from John Green, the spokesperson for Teen Read Week this year, was really great and needed to be shared:
"Even though we live in this supposedly hyperconnected world, it's very easy to feel like no one ever really hears you or understands you. Great books help you understand, and they help you to feel understood."
