Ask, and you shall receive. ICPL's popular "Movies at ICPL" have returned. And this year, we're offering even more film festivals. From Gene Kelly to Batman, Dickens to the Titanic and Julia Child, there's sure to be something for everyone.

Remembering the Titanic:
A Night to Remember (1958) 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12
A century ago, the RMS Titanic set forth on its maiden voyage, April 10, 1912 from Southampton, England to New York City. Four days later, on the night of April 14, she struck and iceberg and began taking on water. The sinking of the Titanic took the lives of 1,517 of the 2,223 persons on board. In memory of the RMS Titanic, her passengers and crew, ICPL will be screening this 1958 film starring Kenneth More, Ronald Allen and Robert Ayres, and directed by Roy Ward Baker.
Batman Movie Marathon: (For Teens & Adults)
The newest Batman Movie, "Dark Knight Rises" opens in theaters Friday, July 20. Join ICPL for a week-long series of Batman films to celebrate the Caped Crusader. Films are at 7 p.m. in Room A unless otherwise noted.
Batman (1989) 7 p.m. Monday, July 16. Directed by Tim Burton, starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson.
Batman Returns (1992) 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17. Directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito.
Batman Begins (2005) 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 18. Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale.
Dark Knight (2008) 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19. Directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger. (Coming soon - details about the costume contest held before this screening!)
Animated Batman: Saturday, July 21
Batman Gotham Knight (2008) 1 p.m.
Batman Under the Red Hood (2010) 2:20 p.m.

Happy 100th Birthday Julia Child:
Julie & Julia (2009) 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Julia Child, known for her TV show and numerous cookbooks, was born Aug. 15, 1912. To Celebrate, ICPL will screen the 2009 film “Julie & Julia” starring Amy Adams and Meryl Streep. Also check out the Julia Child display on the second floor.
Happy Birthday Gene Kelly!
Gene Kelly would have been 100 years old on Aug. 23. Join us for a month-long Gene Kelly film festival to celebrate. All films will be shown at 7 p.m. in Room A.
