Storytime Room
This year's Summer Reading Program theme is "Building a Better World." One way we can do this it to encourage cultural literacy. On Wednesdays, join us for an activity in the Storytime Room that will help us learn and understand something new about different world cultures.
It is just beginning of Ramadan, an important time for Muslims (people who practice Islam). During Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, people fast, or refrain from eating and drinking, while it’s light out. For the hundreds of millions of Muslims around the world who observe Ramadan, the month is a time to focus on their faith and also perform generous acts. We will be making Masjid Sun Catchers to learn more about the Islamic culture.
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
