There will be a wide selection of unique, one-of-a-kind gifts, from quilts and hand-knitted items to jewelry, holiday ornaments, and more, all donated by local artists and crafters. All proceeds from this year's sale will benefit the ICPL Friends Foundation to support the collections and services of the Iowa City Public Library.

Over the summer many library patrons noticed that Iowa City Public Library staff were wearing a shirt with the phrase "Take a look, it's in a book" with a graphic of a book opening into a cheerful rainbow. People were asking where they could get this ICPL merchandise and the great news is that this art is now available in variety of colors in adult and youth sizes as tee shirts, crew neck and hoodie sweatshirts, and a tote!
