The Cricut's precision cutting is a natural for making stencils. Many materials could be cut for different painting techniques: specialized Cricut stencil material, transparency plastic, cardstock, contact paper, or removable vinyl.
In this workshop, we'll cut our own stencils from cardstock to spray paint onto another piece of paper. You'll choose your own design, thinking about positive and negative space to create a stencil that stays in one piece and looks good. We'll embrace the imperfection of spray paint getting under the edges a little bit, and we'll discuss strategies for other projects you might do in the future.
