Calling all nature lovers! Drop by the Iowa City Public Library on April 26 to gear up for the 2025 City Nature Challenge, a fun, global wildlife adventure happening April 25-28.
Volunteers will be on-hand to help you:
Learn how to use iNaturalist, a free app that turns your phone into an eco-discovery tool.
Pick up tips for spotting and documenting critters, plants, fungi, and other wildlife in your backyard or neighborhood.
Find a list of local nature hot spots to practice your wildlife explorer skills.
No experience is needed—this event is perfect for families, kids, and curious minds of all ages. Get ready to be part of this worldwide quest to discover and share nature!
