Meeting Room D
National Novel Writing Month: 30 Days • 50,000 Words • One Life-Changing Experience!
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. It's open to anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel, or any writer who loves a challenge! Starting on November 1st aspiring authors around the world start writing - with the goal of writing a 50,000-word first draft of their novel by 11:59 pm on November 30. Don't let 50,000 words scare you though - that's only 1,667 words a day. You can do it!
ICPL has joined NaNoWriMo by becoming a weekly in-person Come Write-In site. Each Wednesday of the month we'll have meeting room D reserved for writers during library hours. Stop in any time - for a few hours or all day.
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
