The Iowa City Public Library Bookmobile will not be in service on Monday, July 5 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday. The Downtown Library is open on July 5 from 10am - 6pm.
Bookmobile and Library holiday hours are always available on the Library's website.
Although the Bookmobile is closed, online services are available 24/7 at www.icpl.org. This includes account access and, for those who live in our service area, access to ICPL's Digital Library including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, The New York Times and Kanopy video streaming.
We'll see you back on the Bookmobile on Tuesday, July 6!
Inspired by the recent Last Podcast on the Left episode about Mark David Chapman (murderer of John Lennon) I checked out this personal biography about John Lennon, written by his first wife, Cynthia (Powell) Lennon. The unique perspective of this book helps it to stand out from the litany of biographies about the idealistic Beatle. -Shawna
